VCH - Little Mountain House – Cooling System Upgrades
Furano Pacific Consulting (FPC) led the design and installation management of new heat pumps for Little Mountain House, a healthcare and community care facility. The project required meticulous planning and phased execution to replace failing cooling systems across four Air Handling Units while maintaining operational continuity.
FPC adopted a phased approach, ensuring that the building remained functional and compliant with Infection Prevention and Control standards. The project included upgrading building control systems to prioritize the use of energy-efficient heat pumps over mid-efficiency gas systems, enhancing both sustainability and cost efficiency.
